All clients must undergo a level of due diligence unless they are represented by a Qualified Intermediary.
We perform research on our prospective clients for two reasons, one, we are required to, and second, for the benefit of all other Tarsus clients. If Tarsus Trust is found to have an embarrassing client, it will cause undue attention to fall on all of us. Due diligence is an important tool to manage reputational risk.
Depending upon the level and types of service these requirements may increase.
